Ups & Downs of Building a Tea Business (III)
November 29, 2011It is strange how – once you start getting your name out there a bit – sales will pop up out of “nowhere”. Over the Thanksgiving Day weekend I got a call from a loose leaf tea explorer who works late hours but wanted to give tea to friends and family and of course they thought of “Good friends sharing good tea” – Our Home Tea. They did not live far from where I live and they asked if they could stop over after they got done with work – at 3:30 a.m…
Of Course…
Today I got a call “out of the blue” from a gentleman tea lover who was looking for some Organic Honey bush – yeah, just a little. He purchased 2 pounds of the “loose leaf” tisane. He was just down the street at the high school so I told him to just hang out for few minutes and off I went. We made a “tea deal” (several O.Zies) right there in the High School Parking lot!!! Yeah this is getting more fun and busier all the time.
It being the Holiday’s I am trying to push the “Tea Gift Baskets” and of course the prime goal at this point is building the Our Home Tea “Business in a Box” program for folks to make a little money having Holiday tea party’s and perhaps starting their own little in home tea business the first of the year. Better go for now. I enjoy any good feedback of course.
